New double-CD with piano music by Joep Franssens released today!!
Today, Etcetera Records has released Ralph’s second CD with music by Dutch post-modern composer Joep Franssens. It is a double-CD with Franssens’ newest Piano Concerto, Journey under Brilliant Skies, on the first disc, and his Three Etudes for piano solo and Old Songs, New Songs for two pianos (both parts performed and overdubbed by Van Raat) on the second disc. The first two works were written for and dedicated to Ralph van Raat. Conductor Otto Tausk has conducted the PHION orchestra for the concerto recording.
